How It Got Started
Tips from your honorary big sister about life as premed student
I created PreMed Big Sister to be the insightful big sister PreMeds may need while tackling the world of being a premedical student. This blog will encompass study tips, my personal PreMed experience, volunteering ideas, and resources I find inspirational. Envision this blog as your older sister's journal detailing how she juggles work, studying, exercising, and hobbies while in college.

While there is no single traditional path to medical school, my goal is to share my undergrad experiences in order to exemplify one premed journey and create a community of motivated students. Additionally, I aim to use this corner of the interest to highlight interviews with other premed students and medical students about their path on or into medical school.

Before we dive deeper, here's my disclaimer: This blog is meant to be a digital journal of my experience and thoughts, not a "how to get into med school." My hope is that in sharing my academic life I can inspire others to pursue their own interests. I am not an academic or premed advisor, rather, I am a student looking to help other students.

Grab a snack, read on, and enjoy! Let's navigate college together.
